Peckett Class W6 Locomotive
This is an N scale model kit of a W6 Class locomotive built by Peckett & Sons of Bristol. These locomotives were built for industry and saw use across the whole of the UK from steel mills to collieries to power stations and beyond.
PLEASE NOTE; You will receive an unpainted, 3D resin printed kit. Painted and assembled examples of the finished kits are shown in the photos. Instructions are not included so please refer to the directions below.
This kit includes;
- Locomotive body shell.
- 150 ohm resistor.
- Cab roof.
- 2x Cab Steps.
- 2x NEM pockets.
- 2x N standard couplings.
This kit does not include a motorized chassis,
To power this locomotive you will need to purchase the TU - Koppel A chassis. This can be found on eBay or possibly through some model railway shops. alternatively you can order them, for a slightly cheaper price, from Japanese exporters: Plaza Japan.
PLEASE NOTE - that the TU-Koppel A chassis runs on a 3 volt motor. A 150 Ohm resistor is included in this kit which can be used to improve the running of the chassis. This kit is not compatible with the 12 volt version made by Tramfabreik as the motor is too large for the shell.
